WHAT IS WORLDSTARS?

Over nineteen years ago on July 11, 1992, what is now known as WORLDSTARS was initiated to fashion programs dedicated to benefiting talent. Its hallmark project, the annual World Championships of Performing Arts, was launched in 1997. And now over a decade later, 75,000 from 40 countries contend for a coveted invitation to compete at the 15th annual global event for “the gold” and $30,000 in scholarships to the Millennium Dance Complex in North Hollywood, California, and $100,000 in scholarships from the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts School of Film and Television.
