WorldStars BOOT CAMP! The MODELING Line-Up

Welcome to WorldStars Boot Camp 2012!
 

What you are going to experience at WorldStars Boot Camp is both amazing and extremely important in building a successful career in show business.  WorldStars has brought together the top instructors/performers in Hollywood to train you in dance, acting, music and modeling.  This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity so work hard and enjoy.
 
How it Works:
There are 4 training tracks you may choose from: Dance, Acting, Music and Modeling.  You have the choice of taking workshops in different tracks or taking all the workshops in one particular track, whatever best suits your training needs. The much-anticipated "WorldStars Boot Camp" is exclusively for attendees at the 2012 World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) and is not open to the public.

MODELING
 

Rene Horsch World Championships of Performing Arts"Learn How to Work with Fashion Designers"

What designers look for in a female and male model.  Learn what a model must do and look like to get into character for when the designer dresses them.  A model must follow what a designer is trying to convey, listening to the designer's instructions and performing them.  Learn the essentials of hair and make-up.
 
Bio:  Rene Horsch is head fashion stylist for Nolan Miller/Mark Zunino in Beverly Hills since 2000.  Rene has styled hundreds of celebrities for the Grammys, the Oscars and the Emmys, including Sophia Loren and Eve Longoria.  His celebrity styles have been seen in Vogue, Vanity Fair and InStyle Magazine.  Comfortable in front of the camera, Rene has done fashion segments, including makeovers for Access Hollywood and Entertainment Tonight.


Darieene Arnold for World Championships of Performing Arts"Everything You Need to Know about the Modeling Business"

Learn all aspects of the "business side" of modeling, including achieving the "Right Look." Get invaluable tips from Darienne's 20 years of modeling experience from gracing the runway for designers such as Chanel, Valentino and Bob Mackie, to name a few.  As a scout and agent, she journeyed through the maze of finding a good agent, how to get the job and a new way to view the modeling business.  Darienne will help you find your path.  Insider knowledge can make the difference.
 

"Walking, Walking, Walking!"

All about the stage and the presence you exude when you are on it.  Get detailed pointers that will give you the confidence and skill to be on any runway. The way you move is who you are. Pay attention to yourself as you would someone else.  Contestants be ready to actively participate. (Note: females bring heels - no lower than 3 1/2 inches) 
 

"Calling All Models"

 Learn modeling choreography and how to conquer the "Catwalk."  After this workshop, you will be well prepared for the competition.

 

Bio:  Darienne Arnold - Appearing in Vogue, Marie Claire, Mirabella and Harper's Bazaar from the runways of Tokyo, Milan, Paris and New York, Darienne has reigned in the world of top fashion. She has modeled for designers such as Chanel, Valentino and Donna Karan.  She has played a prominent role in the development and placement of female and male models with famed LA Models and NTA Talent agency.  Darienne is a scout for Photogenics and Wilhelmina Models just to name a few.
