In the latest PMPC (Philippine Movie Press Club) Star Awards for Music, which is the Philippine's version of the Golden Globe Awards, JED MADELA (WCOPA's 2005 Grand Champion Performer of the World) bagged the biggest award of the night: "Male Recording Artist of the Year". He also won the "Revival Album of the Year" for his 6th album "The Classics" album.
On October 23, Jed launched his 7th album entitled "Breathe Again" during his noontime show on ABS CBN. In less than 24 hours after its launch, "Breathe Again" jumped to the #3 slot on the charts as the hottest selling album!
Jed is preparing for his major concert on November 26 at the country's national theater, Cultural Center of the Philippines, with big names in the music industry as his guests. The most expensive seats were immediately sold out! The U.S. Ambassador Harry Thomas Jr. reserved seats for him, his daughter and some U.S. embassy officials. The President of the Philippines, Benigno Aquino III, informed theater officials that he and his family will occupy the presidential box of the CCP at Jed Madela's concert.
